4 Day Desert Trips from Marrakech Tour Plan:

Day 1 : Marrakech to Ouarzazate (5 Hours Drive)

4 days desert tour from Marrakech starts with a morning pick up from the airport or your accommodation. Then drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). Stops will be made to enjoy panoramic views of the fascinating mountains and visit the rural Argan Oil Cooperative. After that, we continue through various Berber villages and visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified town recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Furthermore, the Kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films. Then we head to Ouarzazate (The gate of the desert) Where we spend our first night.

Day 2 : Ouarzazate to Merzouga Sahara via Draa Valley (6 Hours Drive)

On the second day, we will explore Ouarzazate, including Atlas Film Studios where many movies and TV series such as Game of Thrones and Prison Break were filmed. Then we will visit a Kasbah located in the city. After that, we drive to Agdz and Alif over the largest valley in Morocco (Daraa Valley). Free time for lunch on the way.

After lunch, We head toward the Merzouga Desert, where you switch to camel and take a ride through the sandy desert. Along the way, you will witness a magnificent sunset on top of the dunes. Upon arrival at the luxury camp, you will enjoy Berber drums music while dancing under the open sky full of stars. Spend the night in the desert camp.

Day 3 : Merzouga Sahara to Boumalne Dades (4 Hours Drive)

Wake up early morning to catch the magical sunrise in the middle of the Sahara desert. After breakfast, you will ride a camel back to the point where our driver will be waiting. Then we leave Merzouga and make our way to Rissani to explore its large souk. Then we head to Erfoud and visit one of the fossil workshops.

After That, we continue through Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todgha Gorges. At the gorge, a stop will be made for lunch and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. Then we continue to Dades Valley Through Boumalne Dades while enjoying the incredible vistas of rock formations known as (Monkey Toes). Dinner and Overnight at a local hotel.

Day 4 : Boumalne Dades to Marrakech (6 Hours Drive)

After Breakfast. We head to the Valley of Roses, famous for its annual Festival of Roses. Then we continue through the palm grove of Skoura to Ouarzazate, Free time for lunch. After that, we drive over the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to reach Marrakech.
