Morocco Itinerary 6 Days Tour Plan:
Day 1 : Casablanca to Chefchaouen (5 Hours Drive)
The 6 Days Morocco Tour from Casablanca will start with a pick-up from the Mohammed V International Airport or your accommodation in Casablanca. We’ll then take you to visit Hassan II Mosque, Which is located on a promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. After that, we’ll travel to the capital city of Morocco (Rabat) where we’ll explore the historic Hassan Tower and the beautiful Oudaya Kasbah.
After lunch in Rabat, we’ll continue our tour to the Blue City of Chefchaouen, famous for its buildings and alleyways in shades of blue. Spend the night at a local hotel.
Day 2 : Chefchaouen to Fes (4 Hours Drive)
Today, We’ll leave Chefchaouen and head to the famous Roman ruins of Volubilis (Walili). Volubilis is the most attractive site in the region as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After that, We’ll continue our journey to Fes and spend the night at a riad or hotel.
Day 3 : Fes Sightseeing Tour
We’ll spend our 3rd day discovering the highlights of the oldest imperial city (Fes) with our local guide. first, we’ll visit the Royal Palace gate, followed by the old Medina which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your visit will include all sites with cultural and historical interest, such as the famous Al-Qaraouine University and the old Jewish quarter called Mellah.
After lunch, We’ll explore the leather factory called Chouara Tannery and then drive to an ancient fortress for a wonderful panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fes. Overnight at your hotel/riad.
Day 4 : Fez to Merzouga Desert (8 Hours Drive)
Today we’ll continue our way to the city of Ifrane, known for its low temperature. There, we will visit the Atlas Lion statue before heading to Azrou along the largest cedar forest in Morocco (Where wild monkeys live). We will stop in Midelt for lunch. Then we’ll continue through the Tizi n’Talghamt, Ziz Valley, Erfoud, toward the Merzouga Desert, where you switch to camel and take a ride through the sandy desert. Along the way, you will witness a magnificent sunset on top of the dunes.
Upon arrival at the desert camp, you will enjoy Berber drums music while dancing under the open sky full of stars. Dinner and overnight in the camp.
Day 5 : Merzouga Desert to Dades (4 Hours Drive)
Wake up early morning to catch the magical sunrise in the middle of the Sahara desert. After breakfast, you will ride a camel back to the point where our driver will be waiting. Then we leave Merzouga and make our way to Rissani to explore its large souk. Then we head to Erfoud and visit one of the fossil workshops.
After That, we continue through Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todgha Gorges. At the gorge, a stop will be made for lunch and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. Then we continue to Boumalne Dades while enjoying the incredible vistas of rock formations known as (Monkey Toes). Dinner and Overnight at a local hotel.
Day 6 : Dades to Marrakech (6 Hours Drive)
On the last day, we’ll visit the Valley of Roses, famous for its annual Festival of Roses. Then continue through the palm grove of Skoura to Ouarzazate where we’ll visit a Studio and a Kasbah located in the city. After that, we’ll head to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. A fortified town recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Furthermore, the Kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films and TV series including Game of Thrones, Gladiator, The Mummy…etc.
Later, We’ll head to Marrakech through the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m). Stops will be made to enjoy panoramic views of the fascinating mountains and visit the rural Argan Oil Cooperative. Finally, The 6 Days in Morocco will end with a drop-off at the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech.
