2 Day Desert Trip from Marrakech Tour Plan

Day 1 : Marrakech to Zagora Desert via Ait Benhaddou and Agdez (8 Hours Drive)

2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora desert starts with a morning pick-up from your accommodation. Then drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). Stops will be made to visit the rural Argan Oil Cooperative and enjoy panoramic views of the fascinating mountains. After that, we continue through various Berber villages and visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified town recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Furthermore, the Kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films.
After lunch in Ouarzazate. we continue through the Draa Valley to Zagora, the gateway to the Sahara desert. Upon arrival, you will ride camels for an hour across the sandy Zagora desert to reach the desert camp. Where you will enjoy Moroccan dinner while listening to drums music around the campfire. Overnight night under nomad tents.

Day 2 : Zagora Desert back to Marrakech (8 Hours Drive)

Wake up early morning to catch the magical sunrise on camelback in the middle of the Sahara desert. And after enjoying a warm breakfast we depart to Ouarzazate. Where we will have the opportunity to visit the Taourirt Kasbah, before making our drive back over the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to reach Marrakech.
