3 Days from Marrakech to Merzouga Tour Plan:

Day 1 : Marrakech to Boumalne Dades through Ouarzazate (6 Hours Drive)

3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga starts with a morning pick up from the airport or your accommodation. Then drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). Stops will be made to visit the rural Argan Oil Cooperative and enjoy panoramic views of the fascinating mountains. After that, we continue through various Berber villages and visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified town recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Furthermore, the Kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films. Then we head to Ouarzazate (The gate of the desert).

After lunch. we continue our trip towards Rose Valley, famous for its annual Festival of Roses. Finally, we drive to Boumalne Dades, where we stay overnight in a local hotel.

Day 2 : Boumalne Dades to Merzouga Desert via Todra Gorges (4 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, we continue our Marrakech tour, passing through the Dades Gorges and stopping at Todgha Gorges to enjoy the beauty of the landscape while walking along the canyon floor between the narrow walls. After that, we drive through the magnificent palm groves of Tinjdad. Free time for lunch on the way.

After lunch, we head toward the Merzouga Desert, where you switch to camel and take a ride through the sandy desert. Along the way, you will witness a magnificent sunset on top of the dunes. Upon arrival at the desert camp, you will enjoy Berber drums music while dancing around a campfire. spend the night in nomad tents under the open sky full of stars.

Day 3 : Merzouga Desert head back to Marrakech (9 Hours Drive)

Wake up early morning to catch the magical sunrise in the middle of the Sahara desert. After enjoying a warm breakfast you will ride a camel back to the point where our driver will be waiting. Then we start our desert tour back to Marrakech through a different route this time. First, we will visit Rissani town, known for its large souk. Then we continue to Alif and Agdz over the largest valley in Morocco (Daraa Valley). Free time for lunch in Ouarzazate, Then drive over the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to reach Marrakech.
