5 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Plan:

Day 1 : Marrakech to Ouarzazate (5 Hours Drive)

5 days tour from marrakech to merzouga starts with a morning pick-up from the airport or your accommodation. Then drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). Stops will be made to enjoy panoramic views of the fascinating mountains and visit the rural Argan Oil Cooperative. After that, we continue through various Berber villages and visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified town recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Furthermore, the Kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films and TV series including Game of Thrones, Gladiator, The Mummy…etc.

Then we head to Ouarzazate (The gate of the desert) Where we spend our first night.

Day 2 : Ouarzazate to Merzouga Sahara via Draa Valley (6 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, we will explore Ouarzazate, including Atlas Film Studios where many TV series and movies were filmed. Then we will visit a Kasbah located in the city (Ksar Taourirt). After that, we drive to Agdz and Alif over the largest valley in Morocco (Daraa Valley). Free time for lunch on the way. Then, We head toward the Merzouga Desert, where you switch to camel and take a ride through the sandy desert. Along the way, you will witness a magnificent sunset on top of the dunes. Upon arrival at the luxury camp, you will enjoy Berber drums music while dancing under the open sky full of stars. Spend the night in the desert camp.

Day 3 : Explore the region of Merzouga

Wake up early morning to catch the magical sunrise in the middle of the Sahara desert. After enjoying a warm breakfast you will ride a camel back to the point where our driver will be waiting. Then we start to explore the region of the Merzouga desert. First, we visit Khamlia and enjoy the Gnaoua music. Then we visit the nomadic people in their handmade woven tents to explore their way of life while enjoying a cup of Berber tea.

After lunch in a restaurant. we drive along the palm trees grove and stop at Merzouga Lake. Then overnight in a hotel.

Day 4 : Merzouga Sahara to Boumalne Dades (4 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, we will leave the Merzouga desert, cherishing the beautiful memories we made. Then we head to Rissani town, known for its large souk. Then we will continue to Erfoud where we visit one of the fossil workshops.

After That, we continue through Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todgha Gorges. A stop will be made for lunch and to enjoy the beauty of the landscape. Then we continue to Dades Valley Through Boumalne Dades while enjoying the incredible vistas of rock formations known as (Monkey Toes). Dinner and Overnight at a local hotel.

Day 5 : Boumalne Dades to Marrakech (6 Hours Drive)

On the last day of our 5 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, We will begin with breakfast and then head to the Valley of Roses, which is famous for its annual Festival of Roses. Then we continue through the palm grove of Skoura to Ouarzazate, Free time for lunch. After that, we drive over the Tizi n’Tichka pass to reach Marrakech.

Finally, The Desert tour ends with a drop-off at the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech.
