Morocco Travel Itinerary 7 Days Tour Plan:

Day 1 : Arrive in Casablanca

7 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech will start with a pick-up from the Mohammed V International Airport or your accommodation in Casablanca. Then we’ll visit Hassan 2 mosque, The mosque is located on a promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and it is one of the largest functioning mosques in Africa. After that, we’ll explore the city by visiting the Moroccan Mall shopping center and taking a stroll along the city’s Cornish. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 2 : Transfer to Chefchaouen: The Blue City (5 Hours Drive)

On 2nd day, we’ll travel to the capital city of Morocco (Rabat) In which we visit the historic Hassan Tower and the Royal Palace and then discover the beautiful Oudaya Garden & Kasbah.

After Lunch, we’ll continue our tour to the Blue City of Chefchaouen. The city is famous for its buildings and alleyways in shades of blue. Spend the night at a local hotel.

Day 3 : Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis (4 Hours Drive)

Today, We’ll leave Chefchaouen and head to the famous Roman ruins of Volubilis (Walili). Volubilis is the most attractive site in the region as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After strolling in the ruins we continue to Meknes where we visit many amazing sights including Bab el Mansour, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, the Royal Stables, and The Jewish Quarter. Finally, we’ll drive towards Fes. overnight stay in Riad/hotel.

Day 4 : Explore Fes Sights

We’ll spend our 4th day discovering the highlights of the oldest imperial city (Fes) with our local guide. first, we’ll visit the Royal Palace gate, followed by the old Medina which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your visit will include all sites with cultural and historical interest, such as the famous Al-Qaraouine University and the old Jewish quarter called Mellah.

After lunch, We’ll explore the leather factory called Chouara Tannery and then drive to an ancient fortress for a wonderful panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fes. Overnight at your hotel/riad.

Day 5 : Transfer to Merzouga Sahara (8 Hours Drive)

Today we’ll continue our way to the city of Ifrane, known for its low temperature. There, we can visit the Atlas Lion statue before heading to Azrou along the largest cedar forest in Morocco (Home of Barbary macaques). A stop will be made in Midelt for lunch. Then we’ll continue through the Tizi n’Talghamt, Ziz Valley, Erfoud, toward the Merzouga Desert, where you switch to camels and take a ride through the sandy desert. Along the way, you will witness a magnificent sunset on top of the dunes.

Upon arrival at the desert camp, you will enjoy Berber drums music while dancing under the open sky full of stars. Dinner and overnight in the camp.

Day 6 : Merzouga Desert to Boumalne Dades (4 Hours Drive)

Wake up early morning to catch the magical sunrise in the middle of the Sahara desert. After breakfast, you will ride a camel back to the point where our driver will be waiting. Then we make our way to Rissani to explore its large souk and visit one of the fossil workshops in Erfoud.

After That, we’ll continue through Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todgha Gorges. A stop will be made to enjoy the beauty of the landscape and walk along the narrow canyon floor. After lunch at the Gorges, we drive to Boumalne Dades while enjoying the incredible vistas of rock formations known as (Monkey Toes). Dinner and Overnight at a local hotel.

Day 7 : Transfer to Marrakech via Ouarzazate (6 Hours Drive)

On our last day, we’ll visit the Valley of Roses, famous for its annual Festival of Roses. Then continue through the palm grove of Skoura to Ouarzazate where we visit a Studio and a Kasbah located in the city. After that, we’ll head to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. A fortified town recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Furthermore, the Kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films and TV series including Game of Thrones, Gladiator, The Mummy…etc.

Later, We’ll head to Marrakech through the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m). Stops will be made to enjoy panoramic views of the fascinating mountains and visit the rural Argan Oil Cooperative. Finally, The 7 Days in Morocco will end with a drop-off at the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech.
