4 Days Casablanca Desert Tour Plan:
Day 1 : Casablanca to Marrakech (3 Hours Drive)
The 4 days tour from Casablanca will start with a pick-up from the Airport or your accommodation in Casablanca. Then we make our way to the historical city of Marrakech, where you will have free time in the evening to wander in the famous Jemaa el Fnaa square and other nearby sights. Spend the night in Marrakech.
Day 2 : Transfer to Boumalne Dades via Ait ben Haddou (5 Hours Drive)
Today, We’ll leave Marrakech and drive through Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). Stops will be made to enjoy panoramic views of the fascinating mountains and visit the rural Argan Oil Cooperative. After that, we visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. A fortified town recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Furthermore, the Kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films and TV series including Game of Thrones, Gladiator, The Mummy…etc.
Later, We’ll continue to Ouarzazate (The gate of the desert), where we visit a Studio and Kasbah located in the city. Then we head toward Boumalne Dades through the Valley of Roses. Stay overnight in a hotel.
Day 3 : Transfer to Merzouga from Dades(4 Hours Drive)
After breakfast, We’ll start our day with the spectacular views of the Dades Valley. We then visit Todgha Gorges to enjoy the beauty of the landscape and walk along the narrow canyon floor. After that, we continue through Tinghir, Tinjdad, and Erfoud toward the Merzouga Desert, where you take a camel ride through the sandy desert. Along the way, you will witness a magnificent sunset on top of the dunes.
Upon arrival at the Desert camp, You will enjoy Berber drums music while dancing around a campfire under the open sky full of stars. Dinner and overnight in the camp.
Day 4 : Merzouga Sahara to Marrakech (8 Hours Drive)
Wake up early morning to catch the magical sunrise in the middle of the Sahara desert. After enjoying a warm breakfast you will ride a camel back to the point where our driver will be waiting. Then we start our Desert tour back to Marrakech through a different road this time. First, we visit Rissani town, known for its large souk. Then we continue to Alif and Agdz over the largest valley in Morocco (Daraa Valley). Free time for lunch in Ouarzazate, Then we drive over the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to reach Marrakech.
Finally, the 4 days tour from Casablanca ends with a drop-off at the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech.
